The Ohio Governor Race

Always community-minded, but not active politically, Casey became disgusted by the radicalization of American culture through social media conditioning and the accompanying presidential administrations post-Covid.

Casey was appalled by the Ohio governor candidates in 2025 which prompted his Ohio gubernatorial campaign. The campaign was run with less than 5 months before the primary election to challenge previous Presidential Republican candidate, Vivek Ramaswamy. Casey stood firmly by his statement, calling Ramaswamy “a globalist trojan horse” and that “the GOP sold-out to exploit the people and resources of Ohio”.

Casey’s platform included:

  • Bringing back manufacturing
  • Protecting cultural heritage sites
  • Opposing data centers
  • Opposing H1B visa foreign workers
  • Banning PE and Corporations from owning private family homes
  • Ending property tax on privately-owned homes
  • Education financial lending reform
  • Aggressively combating human and child trafficking
  • Obliterating immigrant fraud costing Ohio billions

Results

Through 144,000 votes, Casey pulled approximately 20% away from Ramaswamy in less than 5 months with approximately $135,000 raised from the people for his campaign. His competitor, by contrast, had full endorsement of the White House, Silicon Valley backing, had been campaigning for a few years with appearances through most media outlets, and reportedly had tens-of-millions of dollars already spent. While the race was technically a loss for Casey, it brought light to important topics for the people of Ohio and proved that one man can still make a stand against the system.

Controversies

Casey was the only candidate with zero criminal record, no lawsuits, court records, or domestic issues and has a long track record of genuine charitable work. However, despite this, the media and other outside influence created controversies during the campaign.

Attacks

Various prominent paid social media influencers (many with ties to the White House) attempted to discredit Casey and his campaign through direct attack. Later the German origin and definition of Casey’s last name “Putsch” was used as a hail Mary attempt to connect him to a historically infamous political movement in Europe of the early 20th century after his criticism of foreign policies and involvements. Local whisper campaigns attempted to label him “a plant”.

Nice try

All of the attempts to soil Casey’s reputation failed. At one point, Casey baited the news media through what he called “tactical trolling.” Casey made a campaign announcement and press release which insinuated that he was going to confess a family connection to the infamous German political movement. Casey then “Rick Rolled” over one million people, reviving the internet practical joke by playing the 1980s Rick Astley music video “Never Gonna Give You Up” when people expected a confession.

Turning the tables

Casey’s continued to bait the media and used the opportunity to discredit the mainstream media attacks and invite everyone to his political rally where he said-

I’m sick of this stupid psyop and to show just how over it I am, I’m going to drive my Porsche. How About that? And for anyone that drives a German car, I will personally buy you a beer.”

When confronted by agitators, Casey’s calm and confident response went viral, accumulating over one million views across online platforms. The incident sparked a strong public following, with audiences admiring his sharp media savvy and his ability to outmaneuver critics at their own game.
